Clinique Cleanser Mousse and L'Oreal Perfect Clean - Face Wash for Normal/Dry skin review

I got given a sample Clinique face wash when I brought some stuff from them. I don't usually try out face washes cause my skin is quite sensitive and dry so not many products agree.

But since it said allergy tested for dry-normal-combination, I thought I'd give it a shot. It has no fragrance and is quite simple to use - quite smooth on the face when using it and you don't have to use a lot. But for me the problems was when I wash it off, if I'm having a really dry day this seems to dry it out even more - doesn't irritate just feels REALLY DRY. It might be better for more oiled skin individuals? Won't recommend to fellow dry skins.

Being sucker for funny gadgets/bargain I had to try out the Perfect Clean for dry skin when it was first launched. And to my surprise its amazing! This is one high street brand cleanser that hasn't dried out my skin but left me feeling clean and refreshed. The little scrubber also makes you feel like you've had a good go at the dirt cause you can see all the left over makeup or gunk on it. It also lasts for ages (two pea size drop is enough for a full face) - I use this once every other day. Plan on keeping to this one - just brought stock. Would recommend.

Product price:
  • Clinique Cleanser 150mL in stores usually £15? I got mine as a sample for shopping with them so maybe you can try it out via samples if the chance arises?
  • L'Oreal Perfect Clean Soothing Dry/Sensitive Skin: Usually £4.99. Got my first one at Superdrug introduction offer for £2.50. Got second one recently for £3 at Asda.
